Satter The company supplies various products and services: metering and control equipment, filters, membrane products, cooling and boiler water products, but their range does not remain limited to hardware. Aquacare also carries out analyses, for instance for the presence of Legionella. At Satter Orchids, Aquacare installed a cooling water treatment system. Satter has a Carrier cooling machine for cooling part of the greenhouse. This machine carries off heat to a cooling tower, where cooling water evaporates and salts remain. The automatic flushing and metering installation by Aquacare replenishes the water supply from the basin using rainwater. That way the cooling water quality is preserved. A biocide is metered to prevent biogrowth and slime formation in the cooling water system. This product also eliminates Legionella. In addition, an inhibitor is metered to prevent scaling and corrosion in the system. For this project, Satter opted for the innovative 4AQUA Smart Water Control by Aquacare, a new system for water treatment management and monitoring. During the stage that Aquacare Europe BV is installing the system, the company's engineers are present to fine-tune everything to perfection, says service engineer Rob Admiraal at the Satter installation. Area Sales Manager Reyer Kastelijn also notes that when the system is running, the Aquacare people can keep an eye on things from their remote location and carry out regular checks. “Remote management enables us to monitor and adjust.” Thanks to the advanced equipment and technology supplied by Aquacare Europe BV, Satter Orchids does not have to worry about its cooling installations. |
